MEET OUR THERAPISTS
For 22 years, I have dedicated my career to mental health, evolving alongside my roles as a wife, mother, therapist, and life coach. As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in New Jersey, my clinical therapy practice focuses on helping middle-aged men and women navigate major personal and professional transitions. I specialize in individual and marriage counseling, repairing parent-child relationships, and managing the psychological impacts of hormonal shifts, including menopause and mid-life vitality. I believe true contentment stems from understanding how our experiences shape us, requiring a willingness to learn, process, and communicate to break through emotional barriers.
Beyond clinical therapy, I offer dedicated life coaching services designed for goal-oriented personal and professional growth. My clinical background includes a B.S. in Psychiatric Rehabilitation from Kean University and an M.S. in Rehabilitation Counseling from UMDNJ, spanning adult mental illness and trauma-informed care.
Today, whether through individual counseling, strategic coaching, workshops, or public speaking, I provide the nurturing guidance, practical tools, and perspective shifts needed to foster thriving relationships and live your best life.
Since 2013, I have been deeply committed to the mental health field, specializing in supporting individuals, families, and children navigating severe and persistent mental illness. My professional journey is grounded in a Bachelor’s Degree in Family and Child Studies from Montclair State University and a Master’s of Social Work from New York University. Inspired by the profound resilience of people overcoming life’s challenges, I focus much of my dedication on helping those who have survived traumatic events.
Believing that mindfulness and movement are vital for optimal mental functioning, I weave mind-body connection techniques into my practice. I hold a certificate in Integrative Trauma Studies and am trained in EMDR, a specialized modality designed to help individuals reprocess past experiences and move forward in life. This integrative approach is especially powerful for children and trauma survivors who find it difficult to express their emotions verbally.
By pairing these mindfulness and movement practices with traditional talk therapy, clients are able to develop physical and emotional strength, discipline, patience, and a lasting sense of accomplishment. Over the years, I have had the privilege of witnessing individuals, children, and families empower themselves, release the grip of past traumas, and cultivate deeper, healthier connections with their loved ones.
I believe in providing individualized mental health treatment tailored to your unique goals. In a safe, non-judgmental space, we will explore your thoughts and feelings to help you live a healthy, meaningful life.
I work with diverse individuals of all ages, specializing in complex trauma, depression, anxiety, high-functioning autism, ADHD, self-esteem, and life transitions. Together, we develop effective coping strategies by blending evidence-based approaches like Somatic therapy, DBT, CBT, and mindfulness to foster confidence, trauma healing, emotional regulation, and a deeper self-connection.
Living by the very principles I advocate, I prioritize my own work-life balance and self-care. Spending quality time with family and friends, gardening, and exercising help me reduce stress, stay focused, and maintain emotional balance.
Though starting therapy can be challenging, prioritizing your mental health is a sign of strength that leads to personal growth and vital insights. Let’s work together to become the best version of yourself!
